Originally named "Kente Police," the company underwent several name changes, including "Kente Village Ghana," before becoming "Hello Kente." These changes were made to protect our unique identity as we grew into a trusted brand. Over the years, we have stayed true to our mission of preserving the rich heritage of Kente while offering high-quality, affordable products to customers worldwide.

I am Ebenezer Opoku Kuffour, a passionate entrepreneur and founder of Hello Kente. Born in Bonwire, the historic heart of Kente weaving in Ghana, I hold a Bachelor of Education in Accounting from the University of Cape Coast and an MBA from the UK. With a deep connection to my roots and a keen business acumen, I have dedicated myself to preserving and promoting the rich cultural heritage of Kente through innovative and accessible designs. Since 2007, I have been leading Hello Kente with a vision to make high-quality Kente cloth available to everyone.
